DELF : diplôme d'études en langue française
Students attending the French Immersion School may have the opportunity to take the DELF test. Very popular among international students, this diploma is issued by the French Ministry for National Education and certifies the language skills of people learning French as a foreign language.
IMPORTANT: Since this test is only offered at specific moments determined by the French Ministry for National Education, the Collège de Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière does not guarantee the possibility to take this test at any moment during the year. For example, it will not be offered during the summer.
Developed by the Centre International d’Etudes Pédagogiques (CIEP), the DELF reflects the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
The DELF evaluates the French languages skills in 4 areas:
- Oral comprehension
- Oral expression
- Written comprehension
- Written expression
