Since learning doesn’t take place only in classrooms, a host of exciting activities await you in La Pocatière, under the supervision of highly qualified and experienced instructors and monitors.
While in La Pocatière, you may wish to check out some of the local natural, cultural and historical sites. If you enjoy the great outdoors, many activities such as hiking, backpacking, cycling, rock climbing, and inline skating are free and nearby. However, for an extra fee, you can go golfing, kayaking, tree linking or even weightlifting. You can sign up for these activities during the first week of the program and pay the required fees.
If you bring a musical instrument, you can practice in the wooded hillside adjoining the College; if you prefer, a practice room is available for you for an extra fee. You can also have access to a voice or guitar teacher and take dance lessons.
The activities listed in in the attached document are optional and are offered to students with an extra fee (not covered by the Explore program bursary).
