The Collège de Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, founded in 1827, is a private secondary school renowned for its academic excellence, innovative teaching, and holistic student development. Located in the scenic Kamouraska region, it is the fifth-oldest French-language secondary institution in North America. The school is widely recognized for its French Immersion School, attracting learners worldwide for immersive and culturally enriching experiences.
During the year, the Collège hosts 50 international students and nearly 400 participate in its summer immersion programs. It employs teaching methods aligned with the CEFR, emphasizing communicative and action-based approaches, earning an international reputation and welcoming prominent figures and students from diverse backgrounds.
The school is an official center for French certifications, including TEF, DELF, and TCF, and holds affiliations with several organizations, such as Languages Canada, the Quebec ministère de l'Éducation, and France Education International.
