Academic and Career Guidance

Choosing a future career path is an important decision, and navigating the options can sometimes feel overwhelming. That’s why our guidance counsellor is here to help students make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.

Whether selecting courses for the following school year, exploring vocational training programs, understanding CEGEP admission requirements, or considering university studies, students benefit from personalized guidance every step of the way.

By taking each student’s abilities, interests, and values into account, we help them explore their aspirations, discover new opportunities, and build a strong foundation for a fulfilling future.

Addiction Prevention and Support

Recognizing the importance of prevention and early intervention, we offer awareness workshops throughout the school year to help students make informed choices and develop healthy habits.

For students who need additional support or are experiencing challenges related to substance use or addiction, we provide individualized, confidential guidance through our partnership with Centre La Montée.

When necessary, we also collaborate with specialized external professionals to ensure that every student receives the support and resources they need to overcome challenges and maintain a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

Dining Services

Our College has its own dedicated team of experienced food service professionals who take pride in providing quality meals for our students. Every lunchtime, we offer a variety of balanced and nutritious meals designed to meet students’ dietary needs. Microwaves are also available for those who prefer to bring their own lunch.

Known for the quality of its dining and accommodation services, the College also welcomes external groups, corporate events, and participants in Explore, our renowned summer language immersion program, during which nearly 40,000 meals are served each summer.

Health Services

Through our partnership with the Kamouraska Health and Social Services Centre, a nurse is available on campus one day a week. She provides group health education sessions, individual consultations, and referrals to specialists, ensuring students have access to the care and support they need.

In the event of illness or an emergency, our trained staff are available at the College at all times to respond promptly. Our proximity to a hospital and a local community health centre (CLSC), both just minutes away, also ensures quick access to medical care when needed.

Library

With its extensive collection of books and unique architecture, our library is much more than a place to read. It is an inspiring space where students love to gather, study, explore new ideas, or simply escape into a good book.

Students enrolled in our Volleyball Program also have access to Prof. Secours, a free tutoring service offered twice a week.

Our library provides students with Internet access and printing services, creating an ideal environment for studying and research.

Located nearby, the Centre d’archives de la Côte-du-Sud (Côte-du-Sud Archives Centre) preserves a wealth of historical treasures, giving students access to a rich and diverse cultural heritage.

Social and Emotional Support

Whether students are facing personal challenges, interpersonal conflicts, or academic difficulties, our psychoeducational specialist is there to provide timely, compassionate support.

Through attentive listening and personalized interventions, she helps students regain their emotional balance, develop resilience, and strengthen their coping skills.

Working closely with teachers and parents, she can also refer students to specialized external resources when additional support is needed.

Throughout the school year, preventive workshops and personal development activities further help students build essential life skills.

Our Social and Emotional Support Services contribute to creating a safe, caring, and supportive environment where every student can thrive.

Spiritual Life and Community Engagement

As teenagers navigate the challenges of discovering who they are and finding meaning in their lives, our Spiritual Life and Community Engagement Coordinator serves as a trusted and caring mentor.

Through his daily presence, he supports students as they explore and develop their sense of identity. He is there for them in moments of hope and during more challenging times, offering a listening ear, guidance, and encouragement.

Through meaningful activities and experiences, students are encouraged to reflect on essential values such as respect for life, openness to others, forgiveness, hope, and solidarity.

By embracing these values in their everyday lives, students develop into responsible, compassionate citizens who respect and appreciate the differences that make each person unique.

Student Life and Activities

Our dynamic and experienced team of student life educators provides a welcoming, supportive, and enthusiastic presence for every student, every day.

Student life at the College is filled with a wide variety of activities that encourage students to discover their talents and pursue their passions. These enriching experiences go beyond the classroom, helping students grow in a warm and stimulating environment.

Whether through the arts, sports, or community involvement, our students build lasting friendships and create unforgettable memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.
