One in three students at CSA requires additional support to succeed in their academic journey.
That’s why we offer free extra-help sessions in core subjects, including French, English, mathematics, and science at the upper-secondary level. Many of our students benefit from this valuable support, which reinforces their learning, builds confidence, and helps them achieve their academic goals.
For students who need more personalized guidance, individual assistance is also available. This tailored approach allows each student to address their specific learning challenges, make meaningful progress, and reach their full potential.
At CSA, every student is assigned a dedicated teacher who closely monitors their academic progress and behaviour throughout the school year.
More than an academic guide, this teacher serves as a trusted mentor who looks after each student’s well-being, fosters a strong sense of belonging, and helps create a supportive and close-knit classroom community.
For students and parents alike, knowing that a dedicated adult is looking out for their child provides reassurance, encouragement, and peace of mind.
Because every student is unique, the College offers dedicated educational support services for students experiencing behavioural or disciplinary challenges. Our approach is based on attentive listening, individualized guidance, and finding solutions tailored to each student’s needs, helping them thrive in the classroom and succeed academically.
Our Educational Support Specialist provides a welcoming and supportive presence during challenging moments, helping students reflect on their behaviour and develop more effective coping strategies.
Through compassionate guidance and a structured approach, we help students strengthen their sense of responsibility, develop greater independence, and make meaningful progress in a positive and respectful learning environment.
Twice a week, from 3:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., our Prof. Secours tutoring service provides students with additional academic support. An educator is available in the library to offer assistance in all subjects, helping students overcome academic challenges and build confidence in their abilities.
Offered free of charge to students enrolled in our Volleyball Program, this valuable service provides timely assistance, reinforces classroom learning, and helps students stay on track toward academic success.
We are committed to helping every student reach their full potential. In addition to free extra-help sessions in core subjects, we are proud to offer the expertise of a dedicated learning support specialist.
Whether students need to develop effective study habits, overcome challenges in French or mathematics, or receive specialized support for learning differences such as dyslexia, dysorthography, attention difficulties, or hyperactivity, our specialist provides personalized, compassionate support every day.
With the right guidance, students can overcome obstacles, build confidence, and make steady progress toward academic success—all at no additional cost to families.
We offer daily study and homework periods supervised by our dedicated student life educators. These sessions provide students with a structured, supportive environment where they can focus on their schoolwork and receive guidance from qualified staff.
For both students and parents, this is a valuable benefit. Students can complete their assignments in an environment conducive to learning, stay on top of deadlines, and develop effective study habits.
With much of their schoolwork already completed, students can enjoy more free time in the evenings, while families benefit from a more relaxed and balanced home life.
