A Message from the Executive director

Collège Sainte-Anne de La Pocatière

The Collège de Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière is, first and foremost, a growing family that has been welcoming students since 1827. It took the determination of a visionary, Father Charles-François Painchaud, to establish what would become a leading educational institution, now recognized throughout the education sector for its leadership.

At our school, all elementary school students who qualify for the regular secondary school program are welcome. Rather than achieving exceptional results with a select group of students, CSA is committed to ensuring the success of every student. Our inclusive admissions approach is complemented by a financial assistance program that supports numerous local families year after year. Over the past 23 years alone, 4,240 financial assistance applications have been approved, representing more than $3,269,000 in support.

Private schools are often perceived as elitist, and some certainly are. At the Collège de Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, however, accessibility is at the heart of our mission. Regardless of their talents or family income, every young person who wishes to study here has the opportunity to do so.

Our institution is proud to be part of the larger community of private secondary schools. Being part of a family is a tremendous source of strength, and we firmly believe that belonging to the Collège de Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière family is a unique opportunity for every student entrusted to our care. Helping students develop their talents and nurture their passions, which will ultimately guide their postsecondary education and career choices, is both our greatest challenge and our most rewarding mission.

We are proud of CSA, and we want to share that pride with you. Choosing the Collège de Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière means giving young people lifelong roots and a strong foundation for the future.
